Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of attending the Under Construction Choirs 10th anniversary concert.

The Under Construction Choir is Newcastles mental health and wellbeing community choir. It was formed in 2008 by a group of mental health patients as a means to help them unlock their creative potential through singing.

The program aims to develop positive connections, enhance health, wellbeing, self-esteem and confidence in a fun, engaging and non-threatening environment.
