Ms JODIE HARRISON (Charlestown—Minister for Women, Minister for Seniors, and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault)—The 2024 Kahibah Village Fair was held on Sunday 15 September at Kahibah Memorial Park, and though it was a chilly, blustery morning, the Fair was a great success. Aiming to bring the community together, introduce neighbours to one another and encourage all to have some fun, the Village Fair is a yearly event I was thrilled to go along to. I was proud to officially open the Fair, and loved the opportunity to see the local community come together to celebrate their fantastic village. I saw very talented performers from Kahibah Public School, St Joseph's Primary School and Whitebridge High. The Fair also featured pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting, live music and a chance to learn more about local history. My thanks to the Kahibah Village Alliance for organising the fair, partnering with the Greater Charlestown Sustainable Neighbourhood Group and Glenrock Anglican Church. I would like to acknowledge the local businesses who sponsored the Fair, and to all those who chipped in to make it happen. I'm looking forward to 2025's Fair!
