Ms JODIE HARRISON (Charlestown—Minister for Women, Minister for Seniors, and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault)— Hunter Sports High School at Gateshead is part of a long and noble sporting tradition in the Hunter, and has made its mark across a range of sports. I would like to congratulate the Hunter Sports High Baseball Academy for winning the Proud Shield Baseball Boys Knockout Hunter Final in July.

Coached by Ian Hook, who is a Level C accredited Baseball Coach and is also the Hunter Academy of Sport head coach, the boys took to the diamond against an older side and came away with a convincing win. The Hunter Sports High Baseball Academy supports talented athletes with their academic and welfare needs, allowing them to gain a quality education whilst still pursuing their sporting dreams.

A big thanks to Coach Hook, and once again a big congratulations to the team—they will progress through to the next round of competition and compete in the State Championships next term. All the best for the Championships, boys, and keep up the great work!
