Ms JODIE HARRISON (Charlestown—Minister for Women, Minister for Seniors, and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault)— It was my pleasure to the attend the 2023 NSW Minister's and Secretary's Awards for Excellence on 5 September, celebrating the achievements of outstanding schools, students, staff and teachers from across the state.
It was great to see students from Warners Bay High School in the Charlestown Electorate recognised with Minister's Awards for Excellence in Student Achievements. This award recognises outstanding Year 12 students who have excelled in their secondary years across all areas of achievement, including academic excellence, sports, cultural, community and leadership. Congratulations to Noah Brown and Dakota Kellar Bridgart on this amazing and well-earned recognition.
Only forty students from across the state were chosen to receive this award, from amongst the tens of thousands in year 12—I am sure I speak for the entire Charlestown Electorate when I say that Noah and Dakota should both be so proud. My congratulations to all the students whose hard work saw them earn this extraordinary commendation. What a great achievement! I wish you all the best with your future learning.
