The latest New South Wales Bureau of Crime statistics reveal that amphetamine usage in the Lake Macquarie LGA, and therefore Charlestown is dramatically increasing.
Since 2011, the number of deaths relating to amphetamine usage has doubled.
Welcomes Labors election commitment to hold the 2019 Drug Summit which will bring together police, researchers, health workers, families and politicians to look at new approaches for preventing amphetamine- related deaths.
