Notes that elective surgery patients classified as non-urgent areautomatically placed on a 12 month waiting list at the John Hunter Hospital.
Notes that elective surgery patients classified as semi-urgent canaccess surgery in public hospitals in regional areas within 90 days.
Condemns the Minister for Health for not distributing information aboutaccessing regional hospitals for elective surgery available to the public.
Condemns the Government for failing to address the longwaiting list at the John Hunter Hospital while other regional public hospitalshave resources available which could reduce this waiting list.
