That the Lake Macquarie Transport Interchange has potential to unlock growth and improve the connectivity and viability of major centres including Charlestown.
That the Lake Macquarie Transport Interchange has been the top infrastructure priority of all Hunter Councils since 2011.
That the Lake Macquarie Transport Interchange was also identified as a high priority infrastructure project in the Governments own Hunter Regional Plan 2036.
That yet again, this Liberal-National Sydney-centric Government has dumped infrastructure plans for the Hunter region, despite the recommendations of its own departments.
