I have been asked to invite people to assist Foodbank NSW with Christmas hamper packing. Volunteers are needed on Saurday 2nd and Sunday 3rd November 2019. You will need to be able to travel to Sydney to the distribution centre atGlendenning.

Each day will start at 8am sharp with an introduction and briefing by Foodbankstaff. Morning tea will be provided and there will be a sausage sizzle for lunch. We aim to finish each day at 4:30 pm. There will be some visitor parking on site, and ample free parking on street.

The minimum age for volunteering is 15 years. All volunteers need to be able to do some moderate lifting, and will be standing for long periods of time.All volunteers must wear fully enclosed shoes (joggers or work boots are best), safety vests will be provided and you are welcome to wear team shirts identifying the company you are volunteering with.
