Jodie Asks Questions about Resources for Isolated and Remote Early Learning

21 November 2019

Today I gave these written questions to the Minister for Education and Early Childhood Learning:

Isolated and Remote Families Educating Pre-school Children through the Programs of the School of the Air (Broken Hill) or the Department of Education (Dubbo)

To the Minister for Education and Early Childhood Learning:

How many children between the ages of three and five years receive pre-school education in remote and isolated homes through the above programs?

What is the estimated cost of providing a pre-school child in one of the above programs with the same specification of computer that is provided for a kindergarten child who is educated in an isolated and remote location?

What financial support is available to a family to assist with travel costs relating to the face to face components of the participation of a pre-school child in one of the above programs?
