In December, I hosted a morning tea for the successful recipients of funding from the Community Building Partnership program.
I was very pleased to have secured $300,000 in funding for the following projects:
$94,000 to resurface Charlestown Netball courts;
$4,000 to upgrade Redhead Surf Clubs Female Members amenities;
$10,000 to upgrade Windales Mens Shed;
$24,332 for a new disability friendly entrance at Stroke and Disability Services in Charlestown;
$26,000 to refurbish the Visitors Change Room at Dudley Redhead Junior Rugby League Club;
$17,037 for new play and fitness equipment at Hillsborough Public School;
$50,000 for a multi-purpose storage facility, undercover awning and basketball half court at Kotara South Athletics Club;
$7,997 to resurface and upgrade to a full size netball court at Merewether Public School;
$7,000 to upgrade Charlestown Public Schools hall;
$18,634 to improve drainage and install goal posts at Allen Davis Field;
$35,000 for irrigation and drainage improvements at Feighan Oval; and
$6,000 to install a half-court basketball facility at Nesbitt Park.
