Established in 1896, the Dudley Redhead Football Club is one of the oldest in the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie region.
Over more than 120 years they have become a fixture of the community in the Dudley and Redhead area.
Jodie Harrison MP told NSW Parliament this week there's no doubt that the club loves its community and that its member love their football.
"I am so impressed with the facilities they have worked so hard to provide for their club and the broader community," she said.
In May, Ms Harrison was invited to join with Goody, Emma and Nathan from the Dudley Redhead Club to celebrate the installation of their brand-new digital sign.
"My thanks to Goody, Emma and Nathan for showing me around, and to club President Troy Conway, Secretary David Pfister and the entire committee, as well as the countless volunteers who keep the club going. The Dudley-Redhead community wouldn't be the same without the Club."
