I give notice that on the next sitting day I will move that this House:

1 Notes that on Sunday 29 July the rail system across NSW was thrown into complete chaos with no trains running between the Sydney International airport, Central and Strathfield stations; and delayed services to other parts of the state;

2 Notes that two of my constituents were forced to endure cancelled services and lengthy delays in their attempts to travel between Sydney and Newcastle;

3 Notes that it took my constituents longer to travel the 180km from Sydney to Newcastle than it did to travel the 4,620kms from Denpasar to Sydney;

4 Notes that the supposed real time app did not display correct information; and

5 Condemns the Transport Minister for not ensuring adequate back up plans were in place to cope with the planned upgrade works
